Terms & Conditions Welcome to Jewelsmart.in. If you continue to browse and use this website you are agreeing to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions of use, which together with our privacy policy govern Jewelsmart's relationship with you in relation to this website.

  • The content of the pages of this website is for your general information and use only. It is subject to change without notice.
  • The photographs of the products are not scaled to size. Most of the products are magnified or close up shots and size and colour may vary when physically seen. Due to practical difficulties like colour settings in each monitor, we cannot guarantee exact colour in photograph.
  • Neither we nor any third parties provide any warranty or guarantee as to the accuracy, timeliness, performance, completeness or suitability of the information and materials found or offered on this website for any particular purpose. You acknowledge that such information and materials may contain inaccuracies or errors and we expressly exclude liability for any such inaccuracies or errors to the fullest extent permitted by law.
  • Your use of any information or materials on this website is entirely at your own risk, for which we shall not be liable. It shall be your own responsibility to ensure that any products, services or information available through this website meet your specific requirements. Please see the products thoroughly whether it may suit your requirements or not. After choosing the product, you may have some circumstances like the jewelry does not suit you, size is big or small, you may have exchanged the matching dress due to some defect and because of that you may have to exchange the matching jewelry, the jewelry you are purchasing may be used once only and because of that you want to return it or exchange etc.
  • That you have already seen our return policy and accept with the content 
  •  Cancellations of orders will be considered only if the request is made within 24 hours of placing an order. However, the cancellation request will not be entertained if the orders have been dispatched.
  •  There is no cancellation of orders placed under the Same Day Delivery category. 
  •  No cancellations are entertained for those products that the JewelsMart marketing team has obtained on special occasions like Pongal, Diwali, Valentine’s Day etc. These are limited occasion offers and therefore cancellations are not possible.
  •  In case of receipt of damaged or defective items please report the same to our Customer Service team. The request will, however, be entertained once the merchant has checked and determined the same at his own end. This should be reported within 5 days of receipt of the products.
  • For multiple orders received from a customer and if shipping address remains the same, for safety reasons, the items will be combined and sent as a single package with Single invoice with details of items. Multiple emails would be sent with shipping information but with same waybill number if package is combined. Customers are requested to check the contents with the invoice incase of multiple orders. If the package weight was below 500 grams, then customers can request for refund of multiple shipping charges paid. Order confirmation and tracking information would be sent only by email. Incase if customers do not receive email confirmation, they are required to contact us with order numbers.
  • In case you feel that the product received is not as shown on the site or as per your expectations, you must bring it to the notice of our customer service within 24 hours of receiving the product. The Customer Service Team after looking into your complaint will take an appropriate decision. However if its confirmed that the exact product shown in picture is sent, we will not be able to process any return or refund request because due to practical difficulties we do not take returns.
  • In case of complaints regarding products that come with a warranty for Colour, please refer the issue to them.
  • Customers from international locations placing order for delivery within India has to mention their full billing address which matches the payment address of the card which is used for payment.  Further, people placing orders from international locations and delivery within India, there are always chances for people receiving the package handling the package improperly leading to product getting damaged. If the person who receives the item is the same person who places order, he or she would handle it properly. If the people receiving the order doesnt know about the order and if they handle the package improperly resulting in products getting damaged, then Jewelsmart cannot be held responsible for any such damages. If the billing address cannot be verified with the card holder's original billing address, then the order might be cancelled.

Short Note about our Return Policy

Customers please note that we do not provide any facility like what is shown in TV advertisements of other companies (or) which say " Easy Returns" or "Send back if you dont like it".  Some big Multi Vendor websites give such advertisements and they are big companies with heavy funding and capable of absorbing any loss arising out of returns or refunds.  Jewelsmart can always assure that only products shown in pictures and as described in description are sent to them. Each online store is covered by its own policy and we would like to make sure that customers are aware of our terms and conditions below.  We send only products shown in picture and as described, but even with best quality pictures and best description it is practically not possible to give a touch and feel satisfaction of buying from offline stores. For customers who raise a question "I want to return the product as I dont like it?"  (or) "Since I have not seen the product, take back? " we would suggest that they are welcome to visit our store in Salem district, can see the product personally, touch and feel it and buy only if satisfied.. For simple way of understanding our terms we have a separate page FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS  which clearly explains the below mentioned terms in easy way.  Or they can also send item numbers to whatsapp so that we can give them few more pictures in whatsapp for better understanding to avoid any discomfort. 

Refund Policy

  • Many online ecommerce websites offer unconditional returns or no questions asked return facility. But such facility is not available with us and Jewelsmart can assure that the product will be as shown in pictures and product description. Each and every product is properly described and customers can compare the product received with pictures and description together only. 
  • All the payments are subject to bank charges and order cancellation request made on the same day of order provided if such order is not shipped can be refunded only after deducting bank charges.
  • Most of the Imitation Jewelry displayed in the site are suited for the purpose it is meant to be. If maintained properly as per instructions supplied along with the product, the Jewelry can be used for a very long time. Some may intend to use our jewelry occasionally during parties, some may use it daily and some may never use it or others may need it only for one function. We do not provide Jewelry on rent and since we only sell it, its not possible for us to exchange the used product and even if its accepted then it will reach only the other buyer and so in that case we cannot guarantee that only new product is supplied to customers. So to avoid those circumstances, we can process refund only under certain circumstances provided the tag attached to the jewelry is intact. If the tag is opened then, we cannot process refund.
  •  If the product is damaged in transit, then it has to be brought to our notice immediately or within 24 hours of receiving it with proof of clear photograph showing the damage. In that case, the product has to be sent back to us and after examining the product, we can send you a replacement product.
  • 'One gram gold plated' does not mean that the jewellery set has one gram gold in it. It is a general market word used for certain jewellery which are and made and plated to look like real gold jewellery. Some items may contain milligrams content of gold which are used in plating process to bring the finish like real gold. 
  • If customers feel that the product is not as per description, then it has to be brought to our notice within 24 hours of receiving it with a proof of clear photograph. If the claims are genuine, we shall then ask to send back the product and the return product has to reach us within 5 working days with our tags intact. Product received without our tags are not eligible for refund. We shall examine it and according to the facts of the case we can process refund. If we have sent the wrong product or if the product is proved that its not as per description then we can process full refund within 21 days after the product reaches us. The above return clause applies only if the product shipped is not as shown in picture or description. But if the product is as shown in description and picture then the next clause applies. Even after all the above, if the customer places a return request then the following clause applies since expenses are incurred for each order.  The product should reach us within 5 working days from the date of placing a return request with tags intact. Product with price tags removed are not eligible for return or refund. If the product is in good condition and the product is as per description and if the price tags are intact then we can process refund after deducting 20% from the product cost as re-stocking fees. In any case, return courier charges has to be paid by the customers and this applies to all orders within India or sent outside India.
  • Customers can find the full shop address at contact us page. Products listed online are available ready for customers to check before buying. Even after checking the picture shown online and description provided, if the customers are not sure about the product, then they are requested to visit our shop in the mentioned address and try it and then buy. All the products listed are imitation jewelry and Jewelsmart likes to ensure that each product which are sent to customers are brand new and not the products returned by other customers. The customers can be sure always that the products sent to them are brand new due to return policy limitations.
  •  In any other cases, please mail to info@Jewelsmart.in All our products are checked before packing. We also pack carefully so that the jewelry does not get damaged while in transit. But in case of very rare instance of items get damaged in transit, please communicate immediately after receiving the item so that alternative arrangements can be made. We shall try to give the exact specification of items and its sizes in item description itself. So before buying itself, please try to decide whether it will suit you. Also please try to understand about the shipping charges involved. For example, if you buy one gold plated bangles for INR350 and if we provide free shipping and if you have already received the item and if you want to return it, then you have to send it back and your amount will be refunded after deducting one way shipping charges. Take for example, if we incur a shipping charge of INR60 and you spend a returning shipping charge of INR60 then you would end up losing INR120 and also most valuable number of days. 
  • Shipping charges paid by customers are not refundable once the products are shipped.
  • This website contains material which is owned by or licensed to us. This material includes, but is not limited to, the design, layout, look, appearance and graphics. Reproduction is prohibited other than in accordance with the copyright notice, which forms part of these terms and conditions.  
  • All trade marks reproduced in this website which are not the property of, or licensed to, the operator are acknowledged on the website. • Unauthorised use of this website may give rise to a claim for damages and/or be a criminal offence.   From time to time this website may also include links to other websites. These links are provided for your convenience to provide further information. They do not signify that we endorse the website(s). We have no responsibility for the content of the linked website(s).

  • Customers from international locations outside India, please note that all shipments shipped to locations outside India are subject to customs duty and Jewelsmart does not have any control over the customs duty if any levied. There are separate rules regarding the item value limitation that can be imported for each and every country and customers are requested to check their country appropriate websites to know the value of items allowed to be imported without paying duty. Incase of any charges levied, customers have to pay the duty and Jewelsmart is not in anyway responsible for customs duties and charges. If customers placing orders from international locations do not pay customs and clear the package, and in any case they  refuse to take delivery of the package, even then the customs charges and return courier charges need to paid by the customers only..
  • Your use of this website and any dispute arising out of such use of the website is subject to the laws of India or other regulatory authority in India only
  • During festival season like Diwali. Pongal, Ramzan, Christmas etc, the courier companies will have a tight schedule with more orders and there may be delay in delivery. So customers are required to plan in advance if they require delivery before those festival days. Minimum 3 to 5 days may be taken by courier companies for certain regions.
